$400 Mixed Case of Chateauwoof-da-Pup

The 2018 vintage is just starting to emerge from behind the curtain, so to speak. It is showing better weight and fruit character now, with aromas of macerated raspberries, black licorice, smoke meat and earth. It is very energetic on the palate and has a long finish.

The 2019 vintage has great structure with a wet stone character and aromas of raspberries and herbs de Provence. It will open up later this year.

The 2020 vintage is a perfectly balanced wine. Even though the softer tannins are not readily apparent, they are there and will keep this wine alive and fresh for many years. Very floral, peppery and earthy on the nose. All of these vintages are a blend of 65% Grenache and 35% Syrah.
