In 2006, a new School House vineyard block was planted to produce Syrah and Grenache.
Winemaking Notes Syrah was picked in our 2-acre block of new vines.
Tasting Notes As these young vines mature, the resulting wines continue to develop characteristics like the wines of France’s Rhône Valley with its classic aromas, richness, and balance. A touch more color/extraction. Gorgeous aromatics burst from the glass of blue fruit, violets, lavender, and fresh stave. Fresh and energetic with flavors of black olive, bay leaf, fennel, crushed rock & smoked bacon. Our Syrah will age gracefully for 15-20 years.
